Update: I have ordered the bee socks 2 or 3 times. The most recent socks do seem to have some quality control issues where fibers in the heel are pulling out, creating ‘holes’, which aren’t tears in the fabric but like they’re losing fibers? So I don’t know how long they’ll last. They also pill a lot. They’re still my favorite socks to wear and I choose them every day and hardly wear my other socks, unless I need wool socks for eg. cold winter outdoors.
These have become my favorite socks. I wear a woman’s size 9.5-10.5 shoe in U.S.A. sizing. I ordered the size Large/XL bee sock. The foot of the sock has a little extra room, but not enough to bother me. These socks are a bit tighter on my calf than I like, like they’re made for skinny legs, but I’ve gotten used to them and mostly don’t notice anymore. The socks pill a little. So, they’re not perfect, but I end up wearing these over every sock in my drawer (except my wool socks when I need those for wet/cold/hiking/backpacking). My other socks in past have been 100% cotton, or organic cotton, or a few cotton/polyester blends, or also I do have hemp/cotton socks from 3 other brands as well; but these bee socks are my favorite over all of those. I really love how they feel and breathe. I hang dry them after washing machine. I wish Kind Hemp would make cute versions of their ankle sock to try (eg. bees, or pretty colors) I’m waiting until they do, to buy more socks. Note: I also have Kind Hemp socks in the purple stripe version, and I prefer the bee sock. Weird, but seems like the fabric is slightly different on the two socks?? could that be so? The bee sock is a little thicker.
Note: the L/XL size is tight on my partner’s feet, he wears size Men 10.
I was impressed by how little plastic was in the packaging. Just a strip of plastic tape on the shipping envelope and the pull tab of the envelope. Replacing the plastic tape with paper tape would be great. But kudos for sensitivity and reducing plastic use.
I threw one pair of socks after washing them 2x there is holes after wearing them a couple times really bad quality for the price paid 80$ lost
I’ve been getting socks from Kind Hemp Co for the past few years, they are hands down my favorite socks I own and these are no exception. Whether I’m wearing them casually, mountain biking, hiking, or skiing they keep my feet feeling good. Keep up the great work!
I love my new socks! I have received a lot of complements and everyone thinks they are even cooler when they find out they are made out of hemp super satisfied and would definitely recommend to anyone!
