I live in Canada and am sometimes charged large import fees for items shipped from the US. When my Kind Hemp order arrived with an import tax of nearly half the cost of the order, I was ready to return it, but Kind Hemp tried shipping it through a different courier instead. I was STILL charged me an outrageous amount and Kind Hemp went above and beyond by absorbing the cost themselves in order to get my shipment to me. They were understanding, helpful and courteous in our email interactions and I am grateful for the lengths they went to. Great customer service!
The socks themselves also seem great (I have yet to wear them). I love that they are organic cotton and hemp and therefore healthy for my skin. Hemp is wonderful for its properties of being antimicrobial and breathable for sweaty feet, so this was my big draw to find hemp socks.
